Many thanks to Gwyn Miles and the RTD for publishing this very favorable article about these three amazing women. We are so proud of the great work that Andi, Emily and Nevaeh are doing to “make a difference” in our community.
The reality is Don and I could have very easily nominated any of the numerous TSF Mentor Teams who are “making a difference” in RVA on behalf of the young adults we serve. At the end of the day, we decided to nominate Andi and Emily not only because they have done a beautiful job walking beside Nevaeh over the past three years but they were two of TSFs earliest volunteers.
So kudos today to Andi, Emily and Nevaeh…we are so proud of all three of you!
In closing the following quotes at the very end of the article best sum up TSFs mission…
“It’s good to have people in my circle who have always been there,” Zampini said.
Weissbart replied, “And we’re not going anywhere.”
